KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a reputable organization in the Middletown CT area who is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This position is fully onsite and plays an important role in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

• Process invoices, expense reports, and credit card transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies as needed
• High Volume GL Coding
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) in accordance with company policies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–3 years of accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
