The Resident Maintenance Tech Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on ASRS Dematic Multi-shuttle and Conveyor. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Plainville, CT facility. This position will start on day shift from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm and will eventually turn into a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Please note this is a refrigerated and Freezer facility.
The permanent shifts will be rotating 4-3- 3-4.
Overtime and possibly weekend work may be required.#

Qualifications:

**## ## What You Will Do In This Role
* Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and component lubrication.
* Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
* Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
* Build and close work orders in the asset management system with appropriate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
* Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and identify resources needed to resolve them.
* Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory.
* Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.
* Respond to service calls and address equipment failures and faults.
* Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.##

What We Are Looking For
* High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An associate's degree or vocational technical training is helpful.
* Specialized skill training/certification is a plus.
* 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
* Proven experience in the area of responsibility and successful demonstration of key responsibilities.
* Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
* Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
* Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
* Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
* Job conditions can involve tight spaces, dust, odors, temperature variations, noise, vibration, standing on concrete, and wet surfaces.
* Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.
* Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holiday hours as needed.
