Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience. - Serve as a gracious host to all guests and co‑workers
- Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company‑sponsored events
- Provide security on assigned casino or landing area: maintain high visibility, handle problem situations, watch for safety hazards, and assist medical officers
- Patrol parking lots
- Escort monetary transfers, fills and credits
- Oversee customer boarding and disembarking: provide crowd control, direct traffic, check IDs, inspect items not allowed on the casino floor
- Assist customers with directions, taxi calls and car trouble
- Provide special assistance to disabled patrons as needed
- Assist with table and slot drops
- Observe hard‑count crew during slot drops and transport tokens to the hard‑count room
- Provide assistance for table drops by supplying drop boxes, monitoring the count and securing boxes in the soft‑count room
- Monitor entry and exit from hard count, soft count and vault and maintain logs of these activities
- Serve as dispatcher and dispatch other officers to assignments while maintaining activity log sheets
- Record monitors
- Write detailed reports for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure
- Testify in court on behalf of state gaming boards
- Occasionally perform strenuous physical activity
- Meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Accommodate reasonable requests from supervisors or management
- Have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- Enjoy hosting others
- Be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.; preferably six months of related experience and/or training
- Be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs; ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varied work areas such as confined spaces
