Description
We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Family Medicine and Primary Care. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and the success of various healthcare projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse medical cases and make a positive impact on the community.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient consultations and examinations.
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and provide comprehensive care plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices.
- Participate in medical rounds and case conferences.
- Adhere to all relevant medical standards and guidelines.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Primary Care.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating patients in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
No call requirement
Patient Volume: 18 per day
Full spectrum of primary care skills needed
EMR:
Epic
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
