Pharmacy Technician – Part‑Time

As a Pharmacy Technician you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store. You will be the first point of contact to assist patients and customers, ensuring prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately while exceeding patient expectations.

• Follow all company SOPs at each workstation to improve patient health.
• Execute pharmacy workflow procedures (production, pick‑up, drive‑thru, drop‑off) for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Show empathy and genuine care to create personalized moments and offer immunizations & services at the register and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities (returns, cycle counts, waiting bin inventories).
• Contribute to a high‑performing team, seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Remain flexible for scheduling needs and voluntarily travel to stores as required.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, CVS policies, controlled substance dispensing and record‑keeping, and patient privacy and security requirements.
• Deliver additional patient health‑care services (immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, off‑site clinic staffing) where lawful and supported by training and certification.

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Maintain concentration, accuracy, and communication with patients and colleagues.
• Use mathematical reasoning for medication calculations.
• Problem resolution, physical demands (mobile, lift, reach, repeat finger tasks).
• Any additional tasks directed by supervisor or manager.

• 1‑3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Previous experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations to meet business needs.

$17.00 – $27.00 per hour (base hourly rate). Actual base salary offer will vary based on experience, education, geography and other factors.
