The Home Depot is seeking candidates for the Freight/Receiving role. The Freight/Receiving position ensures the store is stocked and ready for business each day. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, moving material from the receiving area throughout the store, operating forklifts where required, and maintaining proper on-hands and pricing for customers. Direct customer interaction is frequently required for some positions and excellent customer service skills are required.
The Freight/Receiving roles may include Freight Team Associate, Freight Team Lead, Receiving Associate and Receiving Support.
- Stock and merchandise the store to ensure it is ready for business each day.
- Load and unload trucks and move material from the receiving area throughout the store.
- Operate forklifts where required.
- Maintain proper on-hands and pricing for customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and direct customer interaction as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills are required for some positions.
