Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Assist in month-end close processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions.
  • Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters and special projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Net Suite) and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
