Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Accountant to join a dynamic and growing organization based in Plano, TX. This full-time onsite position offers an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in GAAP and full-cycle accounting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where initiative and accuracy are valued.

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of accounting data.
• Support audits and compliance requirements through documentation and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the accounting function.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated with a “go‑getter” attitude and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)
