Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing and payment operations for a Contract position based in Plano, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who works accurately in a fast-paced finance environment and can manage vendor payments with strong attention to detail. The selected candidate will help maintain timely disbursements, ensure proper coding, and contribute to efficient accounts payable workflows.

Responsibilities:
• Review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper approval before processing.
• Assign correct general ledger or account codes to invoices in line with company procedures.
• Enter and maintain accounts payable records with a high level of precision and consistency.
• Prepare ACH payments and check run batches according to scheduled deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
• Reconcile payable transactions and supporting documentation to help maintain accurate financial records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm payment details, approvals, and coding requirements.
