Position: Aviation Policy Issuance Assistant I

Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Review outgoing insurance policies, forms, endorsements, certificates, policy jackets, and labels ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery.
  • Assemble policies, pulling appropriate forms and certificates for mailing.
  • Prepare policy folders, labeling file folders and inserting company copies.
  • Maintain current policy forms and jackets for assembly.
  • Administer required countersignatures to policies as required by state.
  • Mail appropriate copies of policies, endorsements, etc. to agent.
Competencies
  • Follow work plans, established timelines, and predefined goals for assigned work.
  • Meet commitments on deadlines.
Education

Minimum High School or GED.

Experience

2 years relevant experience.

Other
  • Possess ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
Additional Working Conditions And Physical Demands
  • Overtime hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • May be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
  • May be required to move up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other devices.
