Business Analyst (Operations Analytics)

Republic Finance is a consumer lending company with over 70 years of experience. We are looking for a Business Analyst to support our Operations Analytics and Branch Operations Strategy team.

As a key role within a small team, you will develop branch strategies, analyze customer behavior data, and support data‑driven decisions to improve branch performance and profitability. Hybrid position requiring onsite work at Baton Rouge, LA or Plano, TX.

• Challenge and improve Branch Operations strategies and scorecards through sophisticated statistical and financial modeling.
• Maintain a rigorous performance monitoring framework and management dashboards.
• Develop best‑in‑class Branch Operations Programs, Monitoring, Reporting, and Strategy implementations.
• Establish a test‑and‑learn environment for continual Branch Operations strategy improvement.
• Build and maintain a robust economic framework that supports business decision‑making.
• Ensure Branch Operations policy remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain transparent communication and trust with all key stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field (Master’s considered a plus).
• 2–4 years of analyst experience in lending originations or Branch Operations.
• Experience with statistical modeling, forecasting, portfolio P&L simulation, and marginal expansion strategies.
• Familiarity with Branch Operations and collections strategies, loss forecasting, and KPI’s.
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Office, Excel/Power Pivot, Access, SQL, and Power
  
  BI.
• 1+ years of SQL and/or Python querying.
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and initiative.
• Robust understanding of consumer lending business operations.
• Experience conducting monthly loan‑level and segment‑level delinquency forecasts.
• Proficiency in Pivot tables, VBA, queries, macros, modules, forms, charts, graphs, statistical software (R, SAS, MATLAB, etc.), SSRS, Power Pivot, and Power
  
  BI.
