Capital One’s Small Business Bank is looking for an Associate who is inspired by people, process, data and technology and the endless possibilities they create. In this role you will support efforts to define, configure and optimize destination-state experiences for both our Associates and Customers, while enhancing the lending experience for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities- Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive business outcomes
- Support platform optimization and configuration vision and assist with requirements gathering, story writing, prioritizing, and execution in a complex, dynamic environment
- Advocate for and represent the voice of customers (internal and external) to influence organizational objectives, roadmaps and the overall customer experience
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while managing risk
- Build credibility and trust within the team, customers and stakeholders
- Apply strong communication skills to influence business decisions and inspire breakthrough results
- Use data to uncover opportunities, track platform and process performance, and influence decision‑making
- Analyze results and implement continuous improvement efforts
- Drive transformational improvements in the customer experience and process
- Own end‑to‑end reporting suite within loan originations platform, interpreting reports, identifying data gaps or opportunities for new metrics, and developing custom reporting to support business goals
- Stay current with platform enhancements to optimize reporting capabilities and ensure stakeholders have timely, accurate, and actionable insights
- Exceptional Communicator:
Communicate and partner with your team and key stakeholders across all levels of the company. Verbal and written communication will be critical to your day‑to‑day work. - Risk Management:
Run a well‑managed horizontal operation that is perpetually audit ready. - Intellectual Curiosity:
Ask why, explore underlying issues, and create unique solutions to workforce challenges. Find motivation in understanding why problems exist and how to solve them in a fast‑paced, live operation environment. - Ability to Work with Data:
Use Excel or Sheets Pivot Tables, functions, formulas, and conditional formatting to summarize, analyze, explore, and present summary data.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
- At least 2 years of Project Management or Process Management experience
- At least 2 years of SaaS Platform Administration experience
- At least 2 years of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience
- At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management experience
- At least 3 years of SaaS Platform Administration experience
- At least 3 years of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience
This role is hybrid, meaning associates spend 3 days per week in‑person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Fridays are enterprise‑wide virtual work days. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are in‑person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully‑designed team areas.
