Construction Manager - Water​/Wastewater

The Construction Manager position is responsible for overseeing water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing schedule, budget, quality, and safety while coordinating with contractors, clients, and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.

• - Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
• - Lead project administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, change management, pay applications, and closeout documentation as applicable.
• - Coordinate with contractors, clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to resolve issues andmaintainproject progress.
• - Maintain and review project documentation and reporting to track progress, compliance, and risks.
• - Promote job site safety and oversee applicable environmental compliance requirements.
• - Lead and mentor project staff, supporting team development and effective workload coordination
• - Facilitate startup/commissioning activities, punch lists, and coordination with supporting teams (e.g., document control, survey, environmental, land acquisition) as applicable.
• - Support constructability reviews and value engineering efforts to improve delivery efficiency.

• - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, ora related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• - 8 years of progressive construction management experience on water, wastewater, utility, or public infrastructure projects with specific experience in treatment facilities.
• - Working knowledge of CMAR, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build project delivery methods.
• - Certified Construction Manager (CCM) strongly preferred
• - OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety
• - Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and AI-enabled construction technologies
• - Demonstrated capability leading project teams and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
• - Working knowledge of project controls, documentation, and construction administration processes.
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• - Reliability and dependability.
• - Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as needed.
• - Travel required
