Network Product Manager

APCON, Inc. is seeking a Product Networking Manager who will collaboratively define network switching and security solutions. This position includes gathering, analyzing and prioritizing the customer’s requirements and desired user functionality, defining the product vision and roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with customers and staff members to design, define, and drive embedded software enhancements, features, and functionality based on customer demands in order to drive increased revenue and market share.
• Define’s product marketing strategy and roadmap for APCON’s switching products.
• Participates in product planning and execution throughout the entire product lifecycle to include specifications for hardware and software, product development and release calendars, marketing pre-planning and maintaining product backlog.
• Works with the development team to maintain the user experience, usability and functionality of our award-winning graphical user interfaces (GUI).
• Helps with the creation of materials for product positioning, presentations and other marketing collateral.
• Partners with other departments to develop global sales strategies to ensure effective launch of product and new releases.
• Attends company’s sales meetings and conducts product training presentations.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar STEM degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of product marketing management experience in hardware and or software application development or related product design for network or routing products
• Familiarity with the following: networking concepts, cybersecurity fundamentals, and data center technologies at the enterprise level
