Preschool Coordinator - Plano Campus

Prestonwood Baptist Church seeks a Preschool Coordinator to lead volunteer leaders for preschool Life Groups and support Life Group sessions on Sundays.

• Recruit, lead, and encourage Life Group volunteer leaders to teach/serve in approximately 18‑36 departments in nursery and preschool areas on Sundays.
• Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed.
• Equip volunteer leadership to teach God’s word and maintain a safe, loving environment for children.
• Schedule and conduct Life Group training sessions.
• Participate in planning Life Group meeting times and distribute curriculum to leaders.
• Complete weekly and monthly ministry priorities (calls, ministry visits, school lunches, PSO field presence).
• Maintain weekly schedule and record of volunteer leaders.
• Manage nursery inventory and supplies in assigned classrooms.
• Communicate regularly with volunteer leaders and participants.
• Call Life Group prospects and absentees.
• Assist with Children’s Ministry and church events as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and active member of PBC.
• Joyful passion for Children’s Ministry.
• High school education; some college preferred.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Experience recruiting volunteers and leading effective teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; other software (Planning Center, Mailchimp) proficiency.
• Able to work Sunday–Thursday, including Wednesday nights, with flexibility.
• Able to perform physical activities (walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, stairs).
