Special Education Teacher – $45/hr – Benbrook, TX

We are seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to provide quality services to an Alternative Learning Teaching (ALE) classroom. This classroom provides a highly structured environment with a low staff-to-student ratio where a variety of evidence based practices are used to meet the needs of students.

• Caseload: 6-7 students
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday
• Hours:
  
  Full-time, 7:30 AM - 3 PM
• Duration: 20 weeks
• Pay Rate: $45/hr

• Provide specialized instruction in inclusion settings
• Collaborate with behavior technicians and para professionals
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
• Document services accurately and timely

• Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certificate
• Generalist or Core Certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
