Fusion Academy is seeking History and English Teachers and Tutors. We offer a one-to-one teaching model focused on personalized education for middle and high school students. Pay Range: $26.00 per hour USD.

Our educational approach emphasizes engaging students with the concepts, causes, and consequences of world events, rather than solely recalling dates. We create learning experiences where students actively participate, analyze language through literature and music, and grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

• Provide student-centered, supportive instruction that promotes compassion, tolerance, emotional security, resourcefulness, and independent critical thinking.
• Address individual academic and emotional needs through Fusion's differentiated approach.
• Teach middle and high school students one-to-one in English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, and Economics for grades 6-12.
• Listen to students, peers, and managers to support meaningful learning journeys.
• Adapt differentiated instruction for all students and create a classroom environment conducive to holistic growth.
• Integrate academic, social, and emotional objectives into engaging lessons.
• Foster trust with students, peers, and campus leadership.
• Mentor students to become lifelong learners and leaders.
• Maintain clear, positive, and consistent communication with parents and teachers.
• Contribute to and benefit from the campus community.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement; maintain accurate records of student progress.

• Bachelor’s degree required with background in English and History.
• Collaborative and exploratory approach to learning.
• Passion for English and History with a drive to share it with others.

• Disciplined time management and ability to stay composed under pressure.

• Willingness to be trained and prepared to teach and tutor at the high school level.

• Teaching certification.
• Previous teaching experience.
• Experience with students with learning differences or ADHD and mentoring experience.
