Early Childhood Teacher

TLC Schools is hiring for both full-time and part-time positions for various ages, including: full-time toddlers, full-time three-year-olds, part-time three-year-olds, after-school, and a computer technology teacher. Shifts available are: 9:00 am
-6:00 pm. 12:30 pm- 6:30 pm, and 2:30 pm- 6:30 pm.

At TLC Schools, we believe in fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young learners. We are dedicated to helping children develop their social, emotional, and academic skills through a play-based and advanced phonics-based curriculum.

• Actively supervise and engage with students during classroom activities.
• Plan and implement lessons based on the provided curriculum to promote learning and development.
• Create and maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Follow classroom schedules and routines to provide consistency for children.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their children's behavior and academic progress.
• Complete annual training requirements as set by Child Care Licensing.

• Passion for working with children and enhancing their learning experiences.
• High school diploma (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred).
• Preschool teaching experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (can obtain upon hire).
• Completion of abuse and neglect training (can obtain upon hire).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and families.
• Patient and positive demeanor, with a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
