We are accepting applications for the position of Assistant Principal at Nimitz Senior High School. All applicants must follow one of the following processes:
Process for Out of District Applicants
:
Out of district applicants are required to complete an on-line application. All requested documents as indicated in the posting must be uploaded to the application.
Process for District Employees
:
District employees must complete an online administrative application in Frontline. If an employee does not already have an application in Frontline, they will need to create a new user password to apply for the specific position.
Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in educational administration
- General qualifications of a teacher and principal, administrators, mid-management, or other appropriate Texas certificate
- Certified appraiser for the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) or must be obtained within 3 months of start date
- Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) certificate or its equivalent Instructional Leadership Development (ILD or ILT) or must be obtained within 3 months of start date
- Minimum three (3) years successful experience as a teacher
- Proven success in improvement of student outcomes

- Official transcript(s) showing all administrative coursework
- Current resume
- Copy of administrative certificate or
- Copy of exam results indicating you have passed the exam
