Learn more about NC3 and SAOC .  We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and integration of complex systems software that forms the backbone of our cutting-edge airborne systems.

You will engage in system-level problem-solving, performance optimization, and the creation of robust, scalable software architectures. Your work will involve detailed systems engineering tasks such as requirements analysis, system modeling, and simulation, alongside software development. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and product managers, you will ensure the seamless integration and functionality of our systems. You will play a critical role in driving technical innovation and maintaining the high standards of our software engineering practices.
** Responsibilities:*** + Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders  + Analyzing context of deliverable solutions against constraints and available technology  + Exercising independent judgment on software architecture, methods, and techniques to achieve results  + Contribute to system architecture development and software design
** Qualifications You Must Have:
*** Bachelor’s of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
* Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
* Advanced understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
* Knowledge of industry standard Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approaches and tools
* Software Systems Experience
* Working knowledge of Python, C++.
* Modeling and Simulation
