Links Technology is seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our client's team in Plano, TX. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Aerospace Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field. You will research, design, develop, test, certify, and continuously improve cutting-edge products across a wide spectrum—from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems to fully integrated aircraft platforms. Your work will span the full product lifecycle and involve developing complex aerodynamic components, structures, and systems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex aircraft interior heat-transfer models, heat-exchanger flow paths, and exhaust plume impingement challenges within the NC3 business area
- Plan, schedule, execute, and document thermal analysis campaigns for transport-category aircraft in support of cross-functional engineering teams
- Review, synthesize, and present analysis results to internal stakeholders, leadership, and customers
- Collaborate with flight-test and ground-test teams to plan data collection and reduce test data for analysis model validation and certification compliance
- Identify gaps in current thermal-analysis workflows, support training efforts, and recommend tools to strengthen program execution
- Strong knowledge of core engineering principles and practices
- Hands-on experience using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools to analyze aerodynamic and heat-transfer behaviors in aerospace applications
- Experience with free- and forced-convection heat-transfer modeling for aircraft interiors
- Proven ability to perform thermal analyses in support of 14 CFR Part 25 Type Certification (TC) or Supplemental Type Certification (STC) programs
- Understanding of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field
- Up to a one-year contract
