Job Description
Our Project Engineer’s responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Provide engineering support the re‑manufacturing of 250+ engines / day
- Interact with customer engineering to develop processes and specifications
- Integrate new products into our current manufacturing processes
- Create, review, and manage plant job instructions
- Develop assembly tooling and machining equipment
- An interest in automotive and manufacturing engineering
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering
- Sound knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge of CAD design programs such as Solid Works
- Knowledge of machining
- Knowledge of lean and just‑in‑time manufacturing
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve in an organized strategic manner
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and learn quickly
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A self‑driven personality
- A solid work ethic
