We are seeking an experienced Senior RAN Design & Optimization Engineer to join a high-impact telecom team supporting cutting-edge 5G and LTE projects. This role requires deep technical expertise in RAN design, optimization, and tuning, as well as strong leadership capabilities to guide large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute technical activities in radio network design, implementation, and optimization across large metropolitan or statewide deployments.
• Utilize tools like Atoll, Planet EV, and ACP for network planning and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Analyze drive test data using tools such as TEMS Investigation, Actix, Agilent, and Rohde & Schwarz (R&S).
• Perform layer 3 analysis, event troubleshooting, HO success rate improvement, and link budget optimization.
• Conduct detailed performance tuning on LTE and 5G networks.
• Work with Ericsson ENM and other optimization platforms to monitor and improve KPIs.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and customer teams to deliver technical excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee planning/model tuning tasks.
• Interpret IRAT procedures and multi-carrier impacts for performance improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in RAN engineering (Design, Optimization, Tuning).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Science (BSCS), or equivalent.
• Led 5+ projects with 2+ large-scale deployments as the primary technical lead.
• Hands-on experience with 5G , Massive MIMO, mmWave, LAA, CBRS, IoT, and 4G LTE.
• Strong analytical knowledge of KPI analysis, uplink tuning, IRAT, and traffic loading.
• Deep understanding of Layer 3 messaging and Monte Carlo analysis.
