Senior RAN Integration Engineer – 4G​/5G

We are seeking a Senior RAN Integration Engineer for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX
, working in a hybrid environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
. This role supports complex telecom network initiatives involving 4G/LTE, 5G, Cloud RAN, and Open RAN technologies
. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands‑on experience with Ericsson and Nokia RAN environments
, including ENM/OSS, RFDS, RNDCIQ, scripting, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and end‑to‑end site delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior RAN professional who enjoys being hands‑on with complex network integrations while also helping drive automation and process improvements
. You will work directly with customer engineering teams, R&D, and onshore/offshore delivery organizations to take RAN solutions from design and scripting through integration, testing, troubleshooting, and successful network deployment. The role provides exposure to advanced 4G/5G, Cloud RAN, Open RAN, NPI/FOA/FFA, and automation initiatives

Contract Duration

Contract position with potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience supporting RAN build/deployment projects
• 5+ recent years leading end‑to‑end Network Design, Scripting, and Integration
• Strong hands‑on experience with both Ericsson and Nokia RAN
• Strong experience with Ericsson ENM / OSS
• Strong knowledge of 3G, LTE/4G, and 5G technologies
• Hands‑on experience with RFDS and RNDCIQ
• Strong understanding of RAN design parameters and market configurations
• Experience performing RAN integration, scripting, testing, troubleshooting, and site delivery
• Experience performing site integrations, audits, call testing, and complex configuration analysis
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis (RCA) capabilities
• Experience supporting hardware/software trials and NPI/FOA/FFA activities
• Strong customer‑facing, consultative, presentation, and communication skills

Desired Skills

• Experience with Cloud RAN and Open RAN
• Experience with Python and/or Java
• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience developing technical documentation, presentations, and solution proposals
• Experience working directly with customer engineering teams and R&D organizations
• Ability to lead knowledge‑transfer sessions and provide technical guidance to other engineers

Daily Responsibilities

• 30% – Perform end‑to‑end RAN integration, scripting, configuration, and site‑delivery activities
• 25% – Troubleshoot Ericsson/Nokia RAN and ENM/OSS issues and perform RCA
• 20% – Develop and support automation solutions to improve RAN integration efficiency
• 15% – Support testing, call testing, audits, RFDS/RNDCIQ, trials, and NPI/FOA/FFA activities
• 10% – Collaborate with customer engineering teams, R&D, and delivery organizations; prepare documentation and provide technical knowledge transfer
