The Role Solution Engineer (Power Systems)

Asa Solution Engineer ,youllworkcloselywithutilities,ISOs/RTOs,andgridoperatorsacrosstheUS,applyingadvancedsimulationsandmonitoringtoolstohelpthemsolvestabilityandcompliancechallenges.

Thisisanidealroleforanengineerreadytostepintoacustomer-facing,solution-drivenposition,withaclearcareerpathwaytowardseniortechnicalleadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement
  :
  
  Partnerwithutilities,ISOs,andtransmissionoperatorstoalignsolutionswithtechnicalandregulatoryrequirements.
• Dynamic Stability Expertise :
  
  Deliverpresentationsanddemonstrationsshowinghowtoaddressoscillations,ROCOF,reducedinertia,andweak-gridissues.
• Policy&Standards Alignment
  :
  
  TranslateNERC,FERC,andISO-specificrequirementsintotechnicalsolutionsthatmeetcustomerandregulatoryneeds.
• Collaboration
  :
  
  Workcross-functionallywithproduct,sales,andengineeringtoco-designtailoredsolutions.
• Innovation Translation
  :
  
  Identifycustomerchallengesandfeedbackintoproductstrategyfornewfeaturesandcapabilities.

Experience&Skills

• Degreein Electrical Engineering ,Power Systems,orrelatedfield.
• KnowledgeofUSreliabilitystandards(NERC,FERC,ISO/RTOinterconnectionrequirements).
• Strongunderstandingofdynamicstabilitychallenges:oscillations,lowinertia,inter-areamodes,andrenewableintegration.
• ExperiencewithsimulationtoolssuchasPSS®E,PSCAD,orPower
  
  Factory.
• Excellentcommunicationskills,abletopresentcomplexconceptstobothengineersandexecutives.
• Proactiveandambitiouswiththedrivetogrowintoa Technical Leadrole .
• Experiencewithsynchrophasor(PMU) dataandoscillationdetectionmethods.
• FamiliaritywithISO/RTOoperations(e.g.,CAISO,ERCOT,PJM,MISO,NYISO).
