About the OpportunityAs a Community Lead, you are integral to the elevated member experience at your WeWork location. You will report to the building manager daily and work to meet members’ needs while upholding WeWork’s global standards. Your responsibilities include ensuring an uncompromised member experience through curated events, connecting members for business opportunities, and creating a welcoming environment for members and guests.
Membership Engagement & Retention- Complete scheduled, quarterly conversations with owned accounts to maximize the value of their WeWork membership.
- Anticipate member and guest needs using member data to enhance and personalize their experience.
- Use the severity scale model for issue resolution to ensure solutions fully meet member needs.
- Review Medallia responses to identify improvement areas and implement proactive changes.
- Support front‑desk coverage scheduling during business hours.
- Conduct pre‑move‑in meetings with all new accounts.
- Complete the New Member Orientation process for all new accounts.
- Curate onboarding materials such as welcome notes and FAQ guides for move‑in day.
- Conduct move‑out interviews to gauge departing members’ experience.
- Provide feedback on programming types and evaluate events based on attendance, satisfaction, and impact.
- Set up and host weekly social events and execute value‑driving events planned by the Events team.
- Distribute event promotion information including creating and posting event posters.
- Ensure building‑specific operational requirements are met for each event.
- Conduct morning walkthroughs, escalating recurring issues to the manager and cross‑functional teams.
- Explain WeWork policies and procedures and communicate building updates via email, in‑person, or broadcast.
- Manage building energy levels, music, and activations appropriate to the daypart and occasion.
- Liaise with in‑building and third‑party cleaning companies to maintain standards.
- Track, audit, and organize keys and keycard inventory.
- Manage Community responsibilities for Member companies in buildings where Community is not present, including liaising with Sales and Account Management.
- Review building management and WeWork Emergency Action Plans.
- Create incident reports, respond appropriately, and escape any medical emergencies.
- Conduct building tours for VIPs or prospective members as needed.
- Alert the Growth Team when a member indicates a growth‑related conversation.
- Hand‑off prospective member sales to appropriate sales contacts.
- Conduct tours of the space for potential new members, highlighting tailored benefits.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in hospitality.
- Proficient local language and understanding of local culture.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask projects from start to finish.
- Attentive to detail and manage tasks efficiently.
- Enjoys growing relationships continuously.
Base Pay: $52,000 to $57,000
Incentive Compensation: Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan specific to their role, detailed by the recruiter. Plans are subject to applicable terms and may be amended by WeWork.
Benefits: Full‑time employees receive comprehensive benefits, including 20 days of PTO, 13 paid holidays, 80 hours of paid sick time per year, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, competitive healthcare, 401(k), and life and AD&D insurance.
