Tax Manager with a $20+ billion, multi-national company.
The Tax Manager will work with internal accounting groups in the preparation and review of the tax accounting/reporting for federal and state tax compliance, tax position management, planning and business consulting. The role will also prepare responses to federal and state audit requests.

Responsibilities- Review income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic tax law including Forms 1120 and 1065 as well as the tracking of tax basis.
- Maintain tax positions and attributes for assigned companies.
- Develop and train senior tax analysts, tax analysts and tax interns.
- Update projections based on business forecasts and review quarterly tax accounting submissions.
- Build and develop relationships across the Company to understand and optimize the various business tax positions.
- Manage prioritization of multiple projects and communicate results to the team and leadership.
- Research tax impacts and determine required disclosures and reporting impacts related to transactions.
- Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a JD.
- 5+ years’ of experience in a corporate or partnership tax compliance role.
- Public accounting firm or large multi-national corporation experience.
- Advanced understanding and application of federal tax policies and regulations and reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of accounting theory to ascertain potential tax ramifications of complex business transactions.
- Experience prioritizing multiple projects, communicating results and driving initiatives forward.
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytical skills, innovative thinking and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive results and meet deadlines.
- Experience training, supervising and developing tax staff and/or interns.
- Experience with BNA is a plus.
- Corp Tax and One Source experience.
