Sr. Tax Analyst

Senior State and Local (SALT) Tax Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Tax Analyst to join our team in North Dallas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting and a keen eye for detail. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax information to a variety of stakeholders.

Base pay range $80,000 – $105,000 per year

Schedule Very Flexible Hybrid/REMOTE.

• Prepare and file corporate state and local income tax returns
• Analyze and document tax positions in accordance with ASC 740
• Assist with the tax provision process
• Assist with tax planning and research projects, including the implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liability
• Conduct reviews of tax-related accounts and lead the resolution of tax discrepancies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
• Keep up‑to‑date with current tax practices and changes in tax law
• Assist in tax audits and respond to tax notices

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in tax accounting.
• In‑depth knowledge of state and local laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
