Payrate: $35.00 - $37.00/hr.

The position will manage marketing and sales expenditure for the company, train sales and marketing on policy guidelines, review sales and marketing programs, perform contract content reviews, and resolve financial and accounting issues. The incumbent will also handle detailed expenditure tracking, payment review, budget/actual analysis, and provide in‑depth reporting. Additionally, the incumbent will review and determine the reasonableness of marketing and sales expenditure forecasts, and be responsible for month‑end closing and audit for marketing expenses.

• Review marketing and sales deduction investment activities.
• Accurately accrue investment activities during month‑end closing.
• Manage month‑end closing activities and produce closing reports, including account reconciliation, sales deduction and marketing expense reports, and forecast variance.
• Provide managerial and internal reporting on marketing and sales deduction transactions.
• Review the reasonableness of marketing and sales deduction expense forecasts and assist the forecast process.
• Lead business owners and collaborate with sales account and marketing teams to collect requirements, analyze information, and develop solutions aligned with business strategies.
• Provide timely support for quarterly and yearly internal/external audits.
• Process and validate customer and vendor payments related to sales and marketing programs.
• Deliver process training to Marketing and Sales groups.
• Manage marketing and sales deduction expense process‑improvement projects and initiatives by evaluating current business processes and identifying improvement plans.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field and 2‑4 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in a similar role.
• Experience in accounting and month‑end closing.
• Experience in business process review and analysis, including financial and operational analysis and audits.
• Proficiency with Excel; SAP or other ERP system experience is a plus.

• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage time.
• Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
• Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data.
• Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial software.

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $35.00 - $37.00/hour. Non‑exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including relevant skills, education, and experience.
