LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Controller for a client in the private equity and corporate services industry, located in Dallas, TX. This role provides leadership for all accounting operations, including general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP while overseeing month‑end close processes and supporting strategic financial planning across multiple business units.

• Lead and manage the accounting operations for the branch and consolidated group, ensuring accurate financial reporting, adherence to GAAP, and compliance with internal controls.
• Oversee month‑end close, prepare and analyze financial statements, track budgets and KPIs, and provide actionable insights to management.
• Manage and mentor accounting personnel, foster a collaborative environment, and provide guidance on departmental functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting.
• Direct the annual audit process, corporate tax filings, and treasury functions, including cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash forecasting.
• Partner with CFO and Senior Financial Analyst on budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, and ad hoc financial projects.
• Serve as payroll backup and assist with other finance‑related functions as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience with Percentage of Completion accounting; private equity exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms, specifically MS Dynamics Business Central.
