Senior Auditor – Toyota Internal Audit Department. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, the role supports the objective to provide independent assurance that the organization’s control environment is operating effectively and that business operations are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead and perform complex financial, operational, and compliance audits aligned with the annual audit plan.
- Execute testing of internal controls over financial reporting under SOX Section 404 and ensure audit documentation meets internal and external quality standards.
- Support special projects, investigations, and strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and risk management. Pursue ongoing professional development and certifications and leverage data analytics and automation to improve audit effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, MBA, MIS, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in Internal or External Audit.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit standards and frameworks (IIA, COSO, COBIT, NIST, SOX).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive presence.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline).
- Professional license or certification preferred: CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE, CFA, or similar.
- Experience with data analytics tools (Power BI, Python, SAS).
- Familiarity with audit management software (Team Mate+ or similar).
