Description
Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial planning information to leadership that allows for insight into business revenues, expenses and trends in order to strategically plan for Success. Ideal candidates for this position possess strong modeling and analytical skills, an ability to serve as a business partner, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Prepare detailed annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for corporate departments. Monitor variances to plan.
- Develop and prepare business unit and corporate level financial and statistical reports to include actual vs. budgeted expenses, volume projections, and quarterly revenues.
- Assist business unit leaders in the administration and understanding of key profitability metrics and identifying areas of opportunity for improvement in units profitability.
- Assist with the administration and ongoing maintenance of Adaptive Insights business planning software, including hierarchy maintenance, cost centers, GL and mapping codes / allocations.
- Ad Hoc reports and other duties as assigned.

- Expertise in financial database management / maintenance and business intelligence / report generation.
- Working knowledge of Treasury / Cash management operations.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Financial Planning / Analyst role required.
- Experience in mortgage banking or financial services preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
- Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
- Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires sitting, bending.
- Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
- Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
- Minimal travel
