Tax Consultant

This position focuses on tax strategy, compliance, preparation, and audits. The Tax Consultant will also ensure adherence to tax laws while providing expert tax advice and filing services. The role offers flexibility with part-time or full-time options and the opportunity for hybrid work.

• CPA or EA certification (required).
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong skills in tax planning, compliance, preparation, and audits.
• Experience handling tax returns and the ability to sign returns independently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tax-related tasks.

• Existing client base (optional, with agreement for listing on company website).
• Interest in working with semi-retired individuals and adapting to flexible schedules.

• Develop and implement effective tax strategies for clients throughout the year.
• Handle tax compliance, preparation, and audits with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Prepare approximately 40 tax returns annually, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws.
• Sign and file tax returns independently, as required.
• Provide clear communication and expert guidance to clients regarding tax matters.
• Collaborate with the in-house team to support client financial planning needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
