A BCBA role built for sustainability, not burnout

Most BCBAs don’t struggle because they dislike the work. They struggle because the structure makes it harder than it needs to be. Long days, unpredictable schedules, pressure to hit numbers, and very little space to practise the way they were trained.

This role in San Antonio has been built differently.

It is a center-based, early intervention position (ages 2–5) with predictable weekday hours. The clinical model is play-based and natural environment teaching at its core, with flexibility to adapt approaches based on the child rather than rigid protocols. Clinical judgement is trusted and supported.

If you are looking for a role that feels sustainable, aligned, and professionally respectful, this is worth a closer look.

What the role offers
  • Salary up to $100,000 plus performance-based bonus
  • Monday–Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends
  • Center-based only. No in-home, school, or travel-heavy work
  • A clinical-first culture where quality and outcomes matter more than volume
  • Leadership that values development, autonomy, and long-term retention
What your week looks like
  • Designing and overseeing individualised ABA programmes for early learners
  • Supervising and supporting RBTs with time built in for meaningful guidance
  • Reviewing data, adjusting programmes, and celebrating progress with families
  • Collaborating with other clinicians in a supportive, team-led environment
  • Having a predictable schedule that allows for a life outside of work
What you bring
  • Active BCBA certification
  • A commitment to ethical, child-led, high-quality ABA practice
  • Confidence in your clinical judgement and willingness to collaborate
  • A desire to work in a structured environment that supports consistency and growth
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k with company match
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • CEU support and ongoing professional development
  • Mental health and employee assistance resources
Is this right for you?

This role tends to suit BCBAs who want stability, professional respect, and the freedom to focus on good clinical work. It may not be the right fit if you thrive in high-volume, highly variable settings.

If you’re curious, a conversation is often more useful than an application.
