About

the Role

Accel Therapies is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support employee relations, compliance, payroll oversight, and the overall employee experience. This role is people-facing and decision-heavy , serving as a trusted partner to managers and employees while helping guide HR processes and initiatives across the organization.

You’ll work closely with HR leadership and operations partners to ensure a compliant, consistent, and engaging workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers
  • Provide guidance on policy interpretation, performance concerns, and workplace issues
  • Support employee relations matters and investigations, escalating when appropriate
  • Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Partner with HR Operations on compliance execution and audit readiness
  • Own or support payroll processes and reviews (final ownership based on team structure)
  • Support onboarding, training initiatives, and employee lifecycle processes
  • Contribute to employee engagement programs, surveys, and action planning
  • Lead or support HR projects, process improvements, and change initiatives
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or People Operations role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong working knowledge of HR compliance and employment law
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and employee relations
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
