Data Analyst

Ascentt Systems Inc is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Data Analyst based in Plano, TX. Responsibilities will include:
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure. Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems, such as the installation of new databases. Develop standards and guidelines for the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.

Perform Gap analysis and design and develop various analytical reports. Write test scripts, tableau reports, dashboards and handle performance issues. Identify, evaluate and recommend hardware or software technologies to achieve desired database performance. Coordinate new data development and create proof of concepts to test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary modifications. Interact with business users, understand existing business models and client’s new requirements.

Review procedures in database management system manuals to make changes to database. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver the projects. Position requires 50% national travel.

Position requires

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
