Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our growing team in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, ADLS Gen2, Blob Storage, PySpark, SQL, and REST APIs. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into insights, and supporting analytics and data science teams with clean, high-quality data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Implement and optimize data workflows and transformations using Py Spark and SQL within Azure Synapse.
• Work with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS) and Blob Storage for data ingestion and storage.
• Build and consume REST APIs for data integration with external and internal applications.
• Develop scalable solutions for structured and unstructured data processing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensure data quality, and maintain data governance standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to meet business requirements.
• Implement performance tuning and optimization techniques for large-scale datasets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and transformation.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration in data pipelines.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS) and Blob Storage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
