Data Scientist

Overview

Ascentt Systems Inc is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Data Scientist based in Plano, TX. Responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
• Design and create Machine Learning solution using a wide variety of techniques such as Statistical Analysis, Deep Learning, Data Analysis and Data Visualization to understand data, create Machine Learning Solutions and provide intuitive solutions.
• Adapt and showcase domain knowledge to work on client data and implement solutions using different frameworks.
• Work within full Data Science life cycle from conception to building, improving, prototyping, testing, deploying, and measuring its overall business value.
• Create graphs, charts, or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis using specialized software.
• Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Compare models using statistical performance metrics, such as loss functions or proportion of explained variance.
• Test, validate, and reformulate models to ensure accurate prediction of outcomes of interest.
• Work closely with different stakeholders across the organization including the leadership, partners, customers, and other engineers to identify and formalize solutions for creating business value and contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with other Data Scientists and Data Engineers to work towards the vision and improve Data Science practice within the organization.

Position requires Master  degree or foreign equivalent degree in Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or a related field.
