Job Description:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience
• Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016, both standalone and clustered environments
• Proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Knowledge of Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Proficient in Always On, Mirroring, Log Shipping
• Experience with SQL Lite Speed

The Database Administrator’s role involves designing, installing, monitoring, maintaining, and performance tuning production databases to ensure high data availability. Support for a 24x7 environment and on-call responsibilities are required.

Responsibilities include designing, building, configuring, and administering clusters and standalone SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 instances.

Install, configure, and maintain SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS instances.

Perform database administration tasks such as patching, upgrading, backup/recovery, and capacity planning.

Create users and assign permissions based on access requirements.

Implement monitoring procedures to maximize database availability and performance.

Serve as the primary DBA for multiple applications on SQL Servers.

Configure database mirroring, log shipping, Always On, and SQL replication.

Establish high-availability strategies as part of Disaster Recovery planning.

Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.

Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.

Perform performance tuning of SQL databases and Transact-SQL queries.

Promote system reliability and efficiency through standards and best practices.

Manage code migrations and updates from lower environments into production.

Experience working in a 24x7 environment is required.
