The Unix L3 Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Unix systems. This includes managing user accounts, file systems, and network services. The L3 Administrator also troubleshoots and resolves complex system issues.
Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain Unix systems
- Manage user accounts, file systems, and network services
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
- Provide technical support to users
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Unix technologies and best practices
- 5+ years of experience as a Unix system administrator
- Strong knowledge of Unix operating systems, including Linux and Solaris
- Experience with Unix system administration tools and utilities, such as vi, sed, awk, and grep
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
