Position
Senior Documentum Specialist (C2C, Remote/Hybrid: 3 days office in Plano, TX or Reston, VA)
Petadata is seeking a highly experienced (15+ years) Enterprise Content Management specialist to lead design, development, integration, and migration of Documentum solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead design, development, and troubleshooting of Documentum applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Design and implement solutions using Documentum Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.
- Oversee platform upgrades and migrations, including data migration, version upgrades, and architecture reconfiguration.
- Architect and configure Documentum workflows, business rules, and lifecycle management solutions.
- Implement best practices for Documentum security, including user roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Design and develop REST APIs for Documentum and other ECM platforms (Spring Framework).
- Integrate Documentum with external systems via REST APIs.
- Leverage AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, SDK) to provide scalable and resilient ECM solutions.
- Lead and contribute to Agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborate with product owners, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Serve as primary technical consultant for clients, translating business needs into technical ECM solutions, delivering presentations, and providing high‑level support.
- 15+ years of experience with Documentum and related ECM products.
- Strong knowledge of Documentum architecture, object model, security, upgrades, and migrations.
- 2+ years of experience creating REST APIs using Spring Framework.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services.
- Proficient in Java, Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC), SQL, and related languages.
- Experience with Open Text integration and other enterprise systems.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
- Certifications in Documentum or AWS.
- Experience with cloud‑based ECM solutions (Amazon S3, Azure Blob).
- Familiarity with other ECM platforms (Open Text, Alfresco, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines for ECM systems.
- Required to attend phone/video and in‑person interviews; background checks on education and experience.
