Job Title: AWS Dev Ops Solution

Duration: 12 months (Possibility of extension)

Pay rate: $65-82/hour on a w2 basis without benefits, holidays, vacations

Note: NO C2C

Looking for local candidates only

5-10 years of experience in Information Technology, 2-3+ years in an Architecture environment.

Mastery in one of the Sec Dev Ops  practices – IaC-Terraform, SONAR, Git-CI Cloud-AWS, CI/CD‑Git/Argo, microservices architecture deployment (primarily Kubernetes) with awareness about site reliability engineering principles, and willingness to learn and expand knowledge.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

Experience with source control and continuous integration tools.

Strong analytical and reasoning skills.

Hands‑on experience in AWS Services – IAM, VPC, EKS, Cloud Front, API Gateway.

Ability to work in fast-paced teams with quick decision making.

Script experience with Bash/Shell, Python.

Experience in IaC – Terraform is a must have.

CI (preferably Git Lab CI) and CD (preferably Argo CD).

Perform as an individual contributor and colleague who enjoys collaborating with, learning from, and mentoring program team members on security disciplines to bolster overall security posture and lower business risk.

Solve complex problems around connected vehicle technology for mobility and telematics by troubleshooting issues and debugging code bases.

Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud‑based production systems.

Adapt new technologies, tools, processes from the organization as needed.

Communicate well with team members and work collaboratively.

Maintain and improve existing code bases and peer review code changes.

Ensure availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.

Manage creation, release, and configuration of production systems.

System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.

Review code and technical approaches for problem solving to ensure functional and non‑functional requirements are met with high quality.

Provide guidance and mentor technical teams across multiple architecture styles and technologies to ensure high‑quality design and implementation, reuse of enterprise/common patterns, improve code quality and testability/maintainability by standard practices, and remove duplication of effort.

Help ensure high‑quality software delivery by providing guidance on testing strategy, and technical consultation to plan/design performance testing and profiling of application, and feedback on tuning performance and other non-functional elements.

Define and communicate complex technical and operational solutions and translate complex topics into simple business language to drive value alignment. Prepare technical solution and architecture documents, artifacts, work products and presentations.

Master in one of the Sec Dev Ops  practices – IaC‑Terraform, Cloud‑AWS, CI/CD‑Git/Argo, microservices architecture deployment (primarily Kubernetes) with awareness about site reliability engineering principles, and willingness to learn and expand knowledge.

Perform as an accountable resource and take ownership on assigned projects and tasks for delivery with quality and in a timely manner using Agile/JIRA best practices.

Partner with application teams as a trusted advisor to ensure compliance and adoption of organizational Sec Dev Ops  standards, processes, and industry best‑practices for developing and deploying microservices in public cloud environments.

Guide the technical leads to create the component and process flow diagrams and assist the application support team for performance, scalability, reliability, and capacity planning.
