Solutions Engineer, Quality - Guidewire Policy Center

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Solutions Engineer – Quality to join our E2E QCC team for Frontier in Dallas, TX.

Base pay range: $134,000 – $254,000 per year. This range reflects your skills and experience. Consult with your recruiter for more details.

This role supports the end‑to‑end Quality Control Center (QCC) team for Frontier, helping to digitally transform the insurance industry. By test‑driving the latest technologies and creating intuitive consumer apps, you will guide development of system, technical, and product standards that align with business plans and long‑term strategies. You will work in an agile environment featuring startup‑like creativity backed by the resources of a Fortune 100 company.

• Strategic partner:
  Take a big‑picture view, supervising architecture migrations and maintaining critical vendor relationships.
• Motivated mentor:
  Exercise technical chops while coaching junior software engineers.
• Systems‑level engineer:
  Develop technical requirements and design robust, flexible product and system architectures in partnership with business stakeholders.
• Forward thinker:
  Promote continuous improvement, find solutions that increase efficiency, accelerate tech adoption, and enhance profitability.

• Ten years of related software engineering experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of agile environments.
• Extensive knowledge of contemporary frameworks and emerging technologies.
• History of practicing Dev Ops and Sec Ops.
• Strong background in business operations and strategies, including knowledge of global business, technology trends, and the financial services industry.

• Solid negotiation, facilitation, consensus building, and influencing capabilities.
• Pattern recognition across teams and delivery of effective solutions.
• Openness and adaptability to fast‑moving circumstances.
• Design thinking and test‑driven development mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and aptitude for teamwork.
• Experience developing/architecting cloud‑hosted, responsive web applications using Java, HTML5, and CSS.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
