Software Tester

Talascend is seeking experienced Software Tester candidates who are bilingual in Korean, for a contract role with our consumer electronics client in Plano, TX.

Overview
The Software Tester will collaborate with team members to ensure software quality through rigorous testing processes. This role involves detecting and tracking defects, analyzing results, and ensuring compliance with testing standards. Must be bilingual in English/Korean.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve software issues
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Analyze testing results and submit reports to the development team
• Create test designs, processes, cases, and documentation
• Conduct testing following established standards and procedures
• Perform testing across all phases of the software life cycle

Requirements

• Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual in Korean, with strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Team player with excellent time management
