NTT DATA is looking for a Senior SAP Pre‑Sales Solution Architect – Digital Solution Architect – to join our team in Plano, Texas. The role focuses on driving large/complex pre‑sales engagements, building GTM offerings, and guiding customers through SAP S/4

HANA solution implementations.

• Pre‑sale technical and business leadership for large enterprise ERP implementations.
• Act as subject matter expert on S/4
  
  HANA, SAP ECC, and related SAP product suites, serving as strategic advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Provide process expertise and solutions in Supply Chain and Manufacturing, and integration with other SAP ERP modules.
• Collaborate with sales and pre‑sales teams to plan account strategies and develop qualifying content.
• Engage with customers in executive meetings, solution workshops, and design sessions, clearly articulating business value.
• Identify and describe solution options, evaluate pros/cons, and recommend best solution strategies and opportunity timelines.
• Create business requirements documents, process maps, high‑level solution designs, and scope of work.
• Ensure formal handoff of design and cost estimation to the Delivery Team and provide technical input to project stakeholders.
• Shape conversations with customers by guiding deep cross‑functional discovery based on industry best practices.
• Stay updated on SAP product roadmaps and trends, influencing pre‑sales strategies.
• Assist in proposals for RFIs/RFPs and drive solution expertise.
• Build strong business cases for cloud migration and transformation, highlighting ROI and TCO.
• Deliver customized demos, workshops, and presentations for SAP’s cloud portfolio.
• Collaborate with SAP’s technical and implementation teams for seamless transition from pre‑sales to delivery.
• Monitor market and competitive trends to keep pre‑sales strategy relevant.
• Train other pre‑sales team members on technical aspects of offerings and products.

• Identify industry‑specific value proposition, drivers, trends, key performance measures, ROI, and technology advancements.
• Audit industry‑related client implementations to ensure quality and incorporate best practices.
• Gather input about future industry requirements.

• Identify business problems and translate them into SAP requirements.
• Craft solutions based on these requirements.
• Maintain consistent, open, and prompt communication regarding pros and cons.
• Prepare business case definitions to support decision‑making.

• 15+ years of experience in SAP pre‑sales, solution architecture, and consulting, focusing on cloud products.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ERP, S/4
  
  HANA, and other SAP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
• Deep understanding of SAP’s cloud suite, particularly S/4
  
  HANA Cloud, BTP, and other cloud‑based modules.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to translate technical details into business language and value‑driven solutions.
• Industry experience in manufacturing or Life Sciences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
