Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a SOX Consultant for a temporary assignment in Plano, TX. This is a 3 month contract position. The pay range for this role is between $60.00/hr - $70.00/hr benefits:

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable SOX Compliance Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements, excellent project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The successful candidate will lead SOX-related projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance controls are effectively designed, implemented, and maintained.

• Lead and manage SOX compliance projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal audit, finance, IT, and business units to assess and document SOX controls.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and status reports to communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance SOX compliance and operational efficiency.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs while maintaining focus on project goals.
• Facilitate training and awareness sessions on SOX compliance and control requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update compliance strategies accordingly.
• Support internal and external SOX audits by providing documentation, evidence, and responses to audit inquiries.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISA, CIA) are a plus.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and risk mitigation.
• Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
