Asset Management Technician

Location:

Parkway Service Center (4120 W. Plano Parkway)

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Type:
Full‑time

• Respond to inquiries related to asset requests, tasks, and project data—both current and historical.
• Manage the department’s inventory of mobile tablets and other technology assets.
• Perform software updates and troubleshoot technical issues on devices.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive data collection to support asset management.
• Stay current with updates to the Open Gov Asset Management system and provide training and support to other Public Works divisions as needed.

• Detail‑oriented and tech‑savvy with strong organizational skills.
• Experience managing mobile device inventory and troubleshooting software issues.
• Knowledge of asset management or reporting systems (Open Gov or comparable) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train colleagues.
