This role will directly influence how our business operates today and into the future by building new processes, designing end‑to‑end workflows, authoring clear SOPs, and providing the analytical insights necessary to support executive decision‑making.
Job SummaryThe Strategic Project Manager plays a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing processes that drive efficiency, scalability, and improved business performance. This individual collaborates with internal department leaders to evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop new standards to support upcoming enterprise solutions such as SAP/S4
HANA and ongoing business‑process improvements.
Success in this role requires a unique blend of project management expertise, strong business acumen, advanced data‑analytics capability, and exceptional technical writing skills
. The Strategic Project Manager will build and maintain documentation—including SOPs, workflow diagrams, reporting dashboards, and standards libraries—to serve as the foundation for repeatable, scalable processes across the business.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail‑driven professional who can operate in a fast‑paced environment, navigate complex datasets, communicate insights clearly, and lead initiatives that support long‑term organizational transformation.
Key Responsibilities Process Optimization, Workflow Mapping & Technical Writing- Meet regularly with department heads, SMEs, and cross‑functional teams to assess current workflows, identify gaps, and design improved future‑state workflows.
- Create professional‑grade SOPs, process maps, swimlane diagrams, technical instructions, and policy documentation to support new systems and business practices.
- Develop standardized documentation templates and maintain a centralized SOP/workflow repository to ensure accuracy and version control.
- Translate complex processes into clear, user‑friendly documentation suitable for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Conduct analysis of operational, financial, and performance datasets to identify trends, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance reports using Excel, Power BI, and SAP data sources
. - Provide data‑driven recommendations that support decision‑making across leadership, operations, customer support, finance, and product teams.
- Support the evaluation of new processes by defining metrics, measuring outcomes, and presenting insights to stakeholders.
HANA Process Alignment
- Partner with global SAP/S4
HANA teams to ensure business processes, SOPs, and workflow documentation align with system configurations. - Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training readiness, and change‑management requirements associated with the SAP transition.
- Document system‑enabled workflows, role‑based responsibilities, and process changes driven by SAP.
- Lead change‑management efforts to help teams adopt new workflows, processes, and technology.
- Develop communication plans, training materials, and post‑deployment support documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and operational teams to ensure alignment and engagement.
- Support transformation of our business model from hardware‑focused to SaaS and recurring revenue‑based offerings.
