Position SummaryThe Software Release Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end release process of software products within the Internal Networks Software and Automation team.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience managing software releases in an Agile / Scrum environment.
- Proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role within software development (3+ years).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Proficiency with release management tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab, Jira).
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and tools.
- Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or related fields (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMP).
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $65 to $75 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that are not included in base pay.
