A leading global enterprise is seeking a SAP Business Analyst - Finance Integrations to join its Application Projects team. This role will support SAP enhancements, integrations, and accounting-focused initiatives, serving as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
The ideal candidate combines hands‑on SAP FI/S4
HANA experience with strong business analysis, data validation, and Excel skills, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of SAP‑related projects.
- Act as a bridge between business users and IT teams, ensuring accurate translation of business needs into technical and functional requirements.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements for SAP S/4
HANA FI integrations and enhancements. - Perform testing activities, including:
- Creating and executing SAP test plans and scripts
- Conducting system integration testing (SIT)
- Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and documenting results
- Validate SAP interface files and integration points.
- Provide end‑user training and develop training materials for implemented SAP solutions.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (formulas, macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) to analyze and validate data exports.
- Collaborate closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure SAP processes align with business requirements.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field).
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst or SAP Functional Analyst.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4
HANA FI and SAP Fiori applications. - Strong understanding of accounting processes within SAP.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and macros.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Prior experience supporting Accounting or Finance business teams.
- SAP Functional Analyst background.
- SAP Certifications (e.g., SAP FI or S/4
HANA certifications). - Master's degree or MBA.
- Round 1: 45‑minute MS Teams video interview
- Round 2: 60‑minute onsite interview
- Thrives in a liaison role between business and IT.
- Has a solid grasp of accounting principles and SAP finance processes.
- Is detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in communication.
- Can troubleshoot and test SAP integrations independently.
